All products here at Home Lighting UK are chosen with care for quality and safety, and conform to British and EN standards.
We have included a description of the finish but these are open to interpretation and so should be used as a guide only.
Dimensions are supplied and are accurate to the best of our knowledge.
Where a minimum or maximum height is stated this is the limited to which the fitting can be adapted including any chain/drop rods
or ceiling plates etc.
Where a height only is given this does not include any chain or ceiling plate and these may vary.
If unsure please contact before ordering.
Lamps (light bulbs) are included with all lights and will be supplied with the maximum wattage lamps.
This wattage can be reduced but cannot be increased.
If you require lower wattage lamps please contact us.
Where a fitting is shown as dimmable, please ensure that the dimmer to be used has a suitable rating to handle the wattage
to be used. If in doubt please consult your electrician.
To order from Home Lighting UK simply browse the site and select your chosen items.
Click on the Add to icon to add to the shopping basket.
All prices displayed include VAT at the current rate of 15.0%.
You will receive a VAT invoice/receipt with your order showing the tax element.
When you have finished go to the checkout for your order total and follow the simple instructions to complete your purchase
via our secure server, which is all handled by Barclaycard for maximum security.
We accept all major credit and debit cards online.
We will only delivery to the registered cardholder’s address.

When you have received an order confirmation, this is an automated response to show that we are in receipt of your order.
We will forward an invoice/receipt to indicate a contract between us.
If the occasion should arise that an item is priced incorrectly or an item is no longer available we will contact you to advise.
Unless otherwise stated, your order will usually be available for despatch within 7 working days of your order.
Should any products have become out of stock then these may take 14 days.
We will contact you in the unlikely event that the items remain out of stock beyond this and you may take the option
to cancel your order if you wish.
Home Lighting UK will only deliver to the registered cardholder’s address.
All cards are code 10 checked.
All orders over £99 will be shipped to the UK mainland free of charge.
Please contact us for shipping charges to any other destination.
Orders below £99 will incur a £12 carriage charge.
Your order will be sent by next day delivery courier service and delivered between 8.00am and 6.00pm.
We cannot guarantee a time or am/pm delivery time.
All deliveries will need to be signed for.
We will try to contact you before despatch to make sure you will be available to take the delivery and sign for the goods.
Any goods which look damaged on arrival, please sign for as damaged.
If you are unsure please sign as unchecked.
If you fail to take delivery of the goods on the confirmed date, you will usually be left a card by the delivery company.
You can then contact them for delivery information.
If the goods are returned to us for failure to take delivery then Home Lighting UK will not be liable for any storage
or redelivery costs which may occur.
As outlined under the UK markets distance selling regulations, when you order from us by telephone or buy online,
you have a legal right to cancel any such order prior to or within 7 days of receiving your goods.
This applies to all products with the exception of any lighting which is the subject of a special order in any way,
made to order for you or specially ordered from the manufacturer for you.
If you wish to cancel your order or return goods please contact us by telephone or email for a returns authorisation
within 7 days of receipt of your order. We cannot receive goods back without this authorisation number.
Any items must be returned promptly within 7 days of receipt of your authorisation number and must be unused
and in the original packaging. They cannot have been installed in any way and must include all lamps unused and complete.
Goods must be returned by registered means as any loss in transit will be the responsibility of the consumer.
Any items returned for reason of a fault or damage will be replaced and the cost of redelivery back to Home Lighting UK
will be refunded.
The above returns policy does not apply to clearance products which cannot be accepted back for refund.
Please check all products for damage or shortages within 48 hours of receipt and notify us within this period.
Faulty or damaged goods will be replaced by Home Lighting UK.
You will be responsible for returning them to us by registered means and we will refund any such carriage charges.
Please note that some lamps (bulbs) can be fragile in transit and these are excluded from this and any other warranty.
We advise that you do not book an installer / electrician until you have received your goods, and have checked them for damage, faults or shortages.
Home Lighting UK will not be held liable for any costs which may arise such as electrician’s fees or time taken from work etc.
All products are backed by a full 24 month guarantee from date of delivery.
This warranty excludes any lamps (light bulbs).
We have chosen Barclaycard Merchant Services to process card payments to give 100% security and confidence.
Once you have placed your order you will be automatically transferred to the Barclaycard Merchant Services website
to enter your card details and this is all handled by Barclaycard for maximum security.
This is fully secure and encrypted and we do not see or store your credit/debit card details at any time for total security.
